You are more than welcome to DIY install – we can’t tell you what to do with the items you buy from us. However, we do generally recommend installation by a qualified plumber, and many manufacturer guarantees are invalidated if a professional installer does not fit the items.
There is a reason plumbers are well-paid. It’s often not as easy as the online videos and how-to guides make out! If you are installing an item yourself and you’re having trouble, by all means give us a call, but it’s generally better to call the manufacturer’s technical helpline. We supply items from 50+ brands, and our team are delightful, but ultimately we are not qualified plumbers. The manufacturers' technical teams will invariably have a closer and fuller understanding of their own items. That said, we are always happy to play piggy in the middle and liaise on your behalf.
